New York Islanders: Rolling after a sluggish season start
Talk about facing tall tasks - New York opened their season with back-to-back battles against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks - losing 3-2 in OT at home and 4-1 on the road. The Islanders have been much better since as they are a 5-1 roll - outscoring their opponents by a 24-16 margin during the hot streak.
