Four Home Teams are Featured Chalk in Monday NHL Puck Action

Bruins vs Wild: Boston aims for ninth straight win

Boston, the hottest team in the NHL, is looking to lock down home ice advantage in the Eastern Conference as they have won eight games in a row and currently own a three point lead over Pittsburgh. Rock solid on defense, but lacking scoring punch, Minnesota rolls into Boston looking to pad their five point Wild Card lead over Dallas. The Wild have played in seven straight one-goal games and gained at least a point in six of them.

Lightning, Blues and Kings round out Monday NHL home favorites list

Tampa Bay, currently the #1 Wild Card team in the East, have won two straight as they host a Canucks squad who desperately need wins to make it to the NHL postseason party. Not sure which Vancouver team will show up in Florida, we'll stay away from this contest. St. Louis, four points up on Boston for first overall in the NHL, hosts Winnipeg who pounded Dallas 7-2 last night and sit four points out of a playoff spot in the West. The LA Kings, who appear locked in as the #6 seed, look to get back to their winning ways as they battle the Coyotes in Los Angeles. Phoenix is a tiebreaker behind the Stars for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

We head over the William Hill online sportsbook for the tonight's NHL betting odds. The four home teams are all fairly thick chalk as the -175 on the Lightning is the lowest of the money line odds. We are going to tie the Minnesota Wild +1.5  (-175) puck line, with the St. Louis Blues -240 ML and the LA Kings -180 ML with a 300 unit three team parlay. We'll also wager 100 units on the Boston Bruins and St. Louis Blues money line prices.
