Bumgarner Gives San Francisco Bettors a Decided Edge Over Blair and Atlanta
Proving once again that he is one of the premier pitchers in baseball, LHP Madison Bumgarner (6-2 ERA 2.12) allowed just five earned runs over 42.2 innings pitched during six starts in May. Blair has allowed three runs or less in his other six starts but he is in tough against Bumgarner who has a 1.81 ERA during five daytime starts this season.
