Washington vs Columbus: Capitals gain us the second leg of our NHL parlay ticket
First meets worst in this contest as Washington leads the NHL with 71 points while the Blue Jackets have 38 points and sole possession of the NHL cellar. Washington (34-8-3) is the most complete team in the league and they roll into Ohio following a 5-2 home win over the Rangers on Sunday. The Capitals have posted just three regulation time losses during their past 27 games dating back to November 21, 2015. Apart from a 8-5-0 run in November, it's been a rough season in Columbus. Counting wins in their last two matches, against Toronto (3-1) and Colorado (2-1), the Blue Jackets are 7-10-4 since the start of December. Columbus does get a boost as starting goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky makes his first start since December 8, 2015. Bobrovsky faces the high scoring Capitals and he's up against stud Braden Holtby (29-5-2 GAA 1.99) in the netminding matchup here.
