Carolina is on a dubious streak of their own as they are getting closer to their second eight-game losing run this season as they have lost six matches in a row. Toronto is rolling on offense as they have potted 25 goals over their last six games. At the other end of the scoring spectrum, Carolina managed just one goal in each of their last six contests.
San Jose Shark Tank is rarely a pleasant place for the Oilers
Though they can be difficult to gauge at times, San Jose (17-11-4) has moved into third in the Pacific division with wins in seven of their last nine games. Outscoring their opponents by a 28-16 margin, those numbers include a 5-2 thumping of the Oilers at home last Tuesday. Edmonton snapped an eleven game winless streak with a 2-1 home win over the Sharks but they have lost five straight since by a 15-6 final count. The Oilers (7-19-6) have just two wins in their last eleven trips to the Shark Tank including four straight losses.
