Detroit Tigers: Offense needs a wake up call
Detroit's high-powered offense, led by AL Triple Crown winner Miguel Cabrera, needs to wake up in game two if the Tigers wish to head back home with the series tied at a game apiece. The Tigers send Doug Fister to the hill to try and tame the Giants hot offense. Fister holds a career 1.98 ERA in games pitched against the National League, which bodes well for Detroit tonight.
San Francisco Giants: Winning game two goal number one
Game one is in the past and the Giants are not focused on anything else but the task at hand in game two tonight. Lefty Madison Bumgarner, who had a coming out party in the 2010 playoffs, has struggled in the post-season in 2012. He will get the start in game two with the chance to rebound personally and put his team up 2-0 in the series before hitting the road for Detroit.
Baseball provides some of the best post-season excitement of any of the major sports and game one proved that as the Giants knocked off the heavily favored Tigers 8-3.
