2014-15 NHL Stanley Cup Futures Odds Bodog Chalk Has Changed
With the National Hockey League regular season clicking down, today we look at the NHL 2014-15 Stanley Cup futures odds currently posted on the betting board at Bodog. With some preseason favorites faltering, there are a few new chalk teams on the block. If you are into futures betting, jump in on these odds now as they will begin to shrink once the playoffs begin on April 15, 2015.

New York Rangers: Leading Eastern Conference contender

Posting a stellar 27-8-3 record since the beginning of January, few teams look more complete than the New York Rangers. The Blueshirts have it all as they possess of solid mix of size, speed and they play quality defense. That lethal combination has New York sitting in first overall in the NHL and the Rangers are well on their way to winning the Presidents’ Trophy. Montreal is the second favorite in the East but they are placed fifth overall on the Bodog NHL Championship betting board.

Western Conference clubs dominate the top eight NHL Stanley Cup contenders list

Although they haven’t looked the part for most of the regular season, Chicago is the top favorite in the West. The Blackhawks, who were the top preseason favorites with a +650 ML price in October, are now carrying a +700 money line. Minnesota is the biggest mover on the board at Bodog as the Wild’s +1600 ML price in October has shrunk down to just +900 today. The Anaheim Ducks, who currently sit first overall in the West, round out the top five Stanley Cup favorites at Bodog.

Stanley Cup Futures Prediction: Not mentioned above, we like St. Louis (+1100 ML) to represent the Western Conference in the Stanley Cup Finals. We will back the Blues with a 200 unit futures bet at Bodog. These NHL playoff odds can change dramatically – at any time – so act today!
