It’s hard to find a more loyal fan base, for a team that has never really found any success. Brown fans have been loud and faithful for all these years, and even put up with not having a team for 3 years. But they have never been rewarded with a Super Bowl parade. They did, however, win a few championships before the Super Bowl was created. They have not won a conference championship since 1969, or a division championship since 1989. [+]

They have also not made the playoffs since 2002, which was the only time they made the postseason since the team was reinstated in 1999. They have seen a lot of rugged, legendary players over the years, including the likes of Otto Graham (QB, 1946-55), Jim Brown (RB, 1957-65), Ernie Davis (HB, 1962), Don Fleming(S, 1960-62), and Lou Groza (OL/K, 1946-59, ’61-67).

Cleveland Browns Record

Key dates in the team history. Sunday January 5, 2003; The Brown’s last playoff game, losing to the Steelers 36-33. You have to go all the way back to New Year’s Day 1995 for the previous playoff game.

How strong is the team within its division/conference? Not strong. This team rarely makes the playoffs, and doesn’t really threaten to do so very often.

What are the team’s main strengths vs weaknesses? This team’s weakness really needs to be blamed on management, at this point. You can’t really blame any players or coaching staff for a playoff drought that spans two decades. Their strength is the unhumanly loyal fans that still pay to see these Browns, year after year.

How far does the team usually go in the league? Again, the Browns are never really favored to do much if anything, until draft day. They are looking to put all the off-field distractions from Johnny Manziel behind them and rebuild…again.
