Key dates in the team history. February 7, 2010: The brightest day in Saints history as they beat the Colts in Super Bowl XLIV by a final score of 31-17.  Drew Brees, who completed 32 of 39 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns, was named the Super Bowl MVP.

How strong is the team within its division/conference? This is a tight division and their offense keeps them competing. But they have not actually made the playoffs since 2013. They don’t have a lot of money to play with, so they are going to have to do the best they can with their current roster, or draft/ trade flawlessly. 

What are the team’s main strengths vs weaknesses? The offensive talent is the only reason they win. Drew Brees remains amazing, and as long as he’s healthy, they can beat any team in a single game situation. The playoffs is a stretch though. 

How far does the team usually go in the league? You figure they will need at least 10 wins to make the playoffs, and win at least 3 inter division games next year. That’s a tall order, and puts a lot of pressure on Drew Brees’ arm.
