Friday Night Football NFL Betting Lines Week 4

    NFL Football Friday Games

So far in the Week 4 action, we have already seen the Green Bay deliver an unmitigated ass-kicking to the Chicago Bears and Thursday night’s tilt. Then, The Bears got an extra kick in the ribs from Butterfinger’s Twitter account. Look that up. It's hilarious. That notwithstanding, we have some amazing looking games this weekend and I am excited. So I'll stop babbling about Twitter beef and get into the actual games.

Last weekend, we shortlisted the number of undefeated teams to only two. The Kansas City Chiefs and the Atlanta Falcons remain the only unbeaten teams. Meanwhile, at the other end of the spectrum, the Giants, Bengals, Chargers, and Browns are all winless so far. Goddamnit Cleveland. I told people you were going to be good this year. You're making me look like a jerk.

So here is how the games are going to play out.

OK so, one of you two teams literally has to win this game. The winner gets their first win of the season. It's a bit surprising because I think both of these teams are a lot better than their dubious start indicates. I would have picked both of these teams to have at least one win on the season at this point. But neither do. So here we are.

In Cleveland, so far this season, youth has been served... For breakfast. Their freakishly talented and athletic core of young players has yet to turn in a game-changing performance. In a good way anyway. I'm gonna hold off my judgment on this roster until about Week 7. Meanwhile, the Bengals finally showed an offensive pulse against the Packers last weekend in a tough overtime loss. In the previous two games, they scored a combined 9 points.

Prediction: The Cleveland Browns at Sports Interaction

I sort of love this game. The Bills are off to a slightly unexpected 2-1 start. But they've only scored 50 points in three games that is the 2nd lowest point total for a team with 2 wins on the season, behind the Panthers’ 45. But their defence is been legitimately spectacular, only giving up 37 points in three games, which is the best in the NFL so far.

Meanwhile, the Falcons look very impressive to start the year, as they try to march back to the Super Bowl. I think they have a chip on their shoulder, after the meltdown last year. I like them a lot, and I don't think they will have much trouble with Buffalo this weekend.

Prediction: The Atlanta Falcons at Sports Interaction

At this point you really just have to shake your head and marvel at how clueless the NFL has become, as they put their two most racist team names in a Monday Night Football game for the entire country to see. Just brutal. It's 2017. Anyway, that notwithstanding, let's talk about the actual game.

Kansas City is off to an impressive start, and has already picked up 2 Impressive Rd. wins on the season. Meanwhile, Washington had a disappointing home loss to start the season against the Eagles, but responded with a solid win against the Rams, and another one against the Raiders. They are good, but I like the home team this weekend.

Prediction: The Kansas City Chiefs at Sports Interaction

I don't know about this so-called rebound season for the Carolina Panthers and Cam Newton. After a decent opening road win in San Francisco, they have laid consecutive eggs and only scored 9 points in a win against the bills two weeks ago, and being held to 13 points at home by the Saints last weekend in a loss.

Meanwhile, the Patriots have seemingly found their stride offensively, with back-to-back wins and back-to-back 36 point performances against the Saints and Texans over the last two weeks. They could really use a convincing ass-kicking performance against the offensively anemic Panthers this weekend to show their defence is for real. I mean, this is the same conversation we have every year. "Brady and the offence is on point, but what about their defense?” Literally, the expectation is the defence to hold the other team to one point less than their offence will produce. But I feel like they're going to do a lot better than that this weekend. Take the Pats to beat the spread.

Prediction: The New England Patriots at Sports Interaction
