Winnipeg finally got off the schnide as they squeaked out their first win of the season last Thursday. The Blue Bombers stop a streaking Edmonton Eskimos club by a razor thin 23-22 margin. It's was Winnipeg's first home game as stadium issues forced them out on the road - where they stumbled to an 0-4 record to start the CFL 2012 season. Winnipeg is last in the CFL East with a 1-4 SU record.
Montreal Alouettes Coming Off Consecutive Loses
Montreal sits in third place in the CFL East standings with a 2-3 SU record after five weeks. During Week 5 action the Alouettes came up short as they dropped 23-20 decision at home to the Toronto Argonauts. Back early in the season in Week 2, Montreal pounded out a 41-30 win on July 6, covering the spread as 6.5 point home chalk. QB Anthony Calvillo is taking a beating this season.
