Baltimore Orioles: Scott Feldman bolsters O's rotation
Feldman was acquired earlier this season from the Chicago Cubs with the idea in mind that he would bolster the Orioles rotation. He has made four starts since joining Baltimore, pitching to a 2-1 record and a 4.73 ERA. He was 7-6 with a 3.46 ERA with Chicago in 15 starts before the trade to the Orioles.
Boston Red Sox: After strong start Ryan Dempster is struggling
Boston's starter for tonight in Baltimore is veteran Ryan Dempster. Dempster has a 5-8 record with an ERA of 4.28, but in his last three starts he has pitched to a 5.40 ERA. He has not recorded a quality start since July 6. He will need to keep the ball in the yard on Saturday night in order to grab a win for the Sox.
