Most recently, the Blackhawks gave it their all but lost to the eventual Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings in seven games a year ago. Anaheim Ducks: Looking to capture the magic of their 2007 Championship run
After finishing first in the Pacific Division for a third straight season, it’s Stanley Cup or bust in Anaheim. Prior to this year’s playoff run, the Ducks have been largely underachieving in the postseason as they had dropped five of their last seven series since they steamrolled to their first Cup win in club history back in 2007. Anaheim swept Winnipeg in the first round and then they extinguished the Flames 4-1 in their Western Conference Semifinal series.
