Colts vs Texans: NFL Week 15 AFC South Over/Under Prediction
Indianapolis Colts back into an AFC playoff position
Playing in a weak division, where their stablemates are sporting a combined 11-28 record, the Indianapolis Colts have secured the 2013 AFC South regular season Championship. Despite getting busted up 42-28 by the Bengals last weekend, the Colts backed into a playoff spot when the Tennessee Titans dropped a 51-28 decision to the Denver Broncos who are the other AFC team with an invitation to the NFL postseason party.
NFL 2014 postseason first round bye is a pipe dream for Indy
After a solid 6-2 start to their 2013 NFL season, Indianapolis (8-5) was hoping for bigger and better things. Though a pipe dream now, the Colts can still capture first place in the AFC. To earn a first round playoff bye, Indy needs a ton of things to fall their way – like the Patriots and Broncos both losing their last three games. Even then they could lose on a tie-breaker so the Colts will have to be content with winning the AFC South.
Nightmare of an NFL 2013 season slowly coming to a close for the Houston Texans
Eliminated from the playoff race – the Houston Texans (2-11) are the biggest bust in the NFL this year. Poor play at QB, injuries on both sides of the ball, and a defense that hasn’t lived up to its expectations, have all contributed to Texans leading the chase for the first overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. These teams scored 51 points in Week 9 and we see a similar total here. Bet OVER 46 points posted at the Bodog sportsbook.
