Winners of seven of eight games to close their 2013 regular season schedule, by a combined 266-171 count, Philadelphia rolls into the playoffs as one of the hottest teams in the NFL. Led by QB Nick Foles, RB LeSean McCoy and WR DeSean Jackson on offense, the Eagles posted quality wins over Detroit, Arizona, Chicago and Dallas down the stretch. Although we aren't high on the Philadelphia pass defense, that ranks dead last, we see them "containing" Brees & Co. who are a different team outside of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
New Orleans Saints: Need a quick fix to their losing ways on the road
Unstoppable at home this season, the Saints were 8-0 in games played in the Bayou, New Orleans needs to figure out a quick fix for their road woes as they lost five of eight games outside of Louisiana. Futility on the road cost the Saints the NFC South regular season title as they dropped four late season contests to the Jets, Seahawks, Rams and Panthers by a combined 88- 56 final count. The loss to a reeling St. Louis squad is the most disturbing of the bunch. If the Eagles contain TE Jimmy Graham - the Saints are toast in Philly tonight.
