National League West MLB Betting Preview: Padres vs Dodgers
Largely inconsistent through the first quarter of the 2016 MLB season, Los Angeles is 21-23 and they are 4.5 games behind the San Francisco Giants in the National League West. The Dodgers opened the year with a sweep of San Diego as they pounded the Padres 25-0 during a three-game set. Since then, Los Angeles is 1-4 versus the Friars - getting outscored by a 20-12 margin.
It’s looking like another long season in San Diego as the Padres are trying to snap a five season losing streak. The Friars are 19-25 and have fallen 6.5 games out of first in the NL West. San Diego was swept at home by San Francisco prior to this series as they were outscored by a 10-3 count. To their credit, the Padres have come from behind during both wins over the Dodgers.
