Giants vs Royals: SF aims for a Show Me State Sweep

Peavy pitched in the World Series for Boston last year so the big stage is familiar to him. How Venture reacts to the bright lights is a question mark for the Royals. With the next three games slated for AT&T Park in San Francisco - Kansas City faces a near "must win" situation tonight.
Capitals and Ducks: Both teams are hot out of the NHL starting gate
Earning eight of a possible ten points over their first five games, Washington (3-0-2) rolls into Edmonton for the first contest of a three game road trip through Western Canada. Led by Alex Ovechkin (6 PTS) 17 of 20 Capitals skaters have at least one point and four of them have a point per game average. Anaheim (5-1-0) is riding a five-game winning streak after they dropped their season opener 6-4 in Pittsburgh. Since then, the Ducks have posted road wins in Detroit, Buffalo (5-1) and Philadelphia (SO) before returning home to take out Minnesota and St. Louis. The Oilers (1-4-1) and Sabres (1-5-1) have both had a rough start to their season as they earned five out of possible 24 points in their combined contest. They are both in tough tonight.
