After closing their respective seasons with impressive wins, Denver (13-3) and New England (12-4) can kick back and relax as they've both earned a bye in the first round of the 2014 NFL playoffs. The Broncos locked up the #1 seed, and home field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs, with a 34-14 blowout win over the Raiders while the Patriots ran all over Buffalo to capture the #2 seed with a 34-20 win at home over the Bills.
Best of the rest in the AFC get ready for Wild Card postseason action
Thanks to regular season divisional titles, Cincinnati (11-5) and Indianapolis (11-5) will host first round playoff games this weekend. The Bengals bashed the Ravens 34-17 to earn the #3 seed in the AFC while the Colts crushed the Jaguars 30-10 to capture the #4 seed. AFC Wild Card action has Indy hosting Kansas City (11-5) on Saturday while Cincy will clash with San Diego (9-7) at home on Sunday. We like the Chiefs and Bengals!
