Oregon Ducks: Aiming for first National Championship
Playing in the NCAAF title game for just the second time in school history, Oregon is aiming for their first ever National Championship. The Ducks first shot at glory ended with a 22-19 loss to Cam Newton and the Auburn Tigers in the 2011 BCS Tostitos Bowl. Led by Heisman Trophy winner QB Marcus Mariota, Oregon snapped a 29-game Florida State winning streak as the Ducks soared past the Seminoles with a 59-20 blowout in the Rose Bowl two weeks ago to earn their title shot. Oregon forced five FSU turnovers in that playoff contest.
