New York Rangers own a rock solid elimination game history
It’s hard to argue that history doesn’t repeat itself when it pertains to the New York Rangers. Dating back the 2012 NHL playoffs, the Blueshirts have stared down postseason elimination 17 times and they have won 14 of those contests. During that stretch, the Rangers have played four Game 7 contests at Madison Square Garden – winning all of them by a 2-1 final score. The Big Apple Boys are 4-0 in elimination games during the 2015 playoffs including their 7-3 bashing of the Bolts in Tampa Bay on Tuesday. New York has lost two in a row at home to Tampa in this series but they haven't dropped three straight contests of any kind at the Garden since mid December in 2013.

Ranger vs Lightning East Final Prediction: Taking nothing away from the solid regular season and playoff run posted by Tampa Bay, there’s no way we are betting against the Rangers in this contest.
