Rose Bowl NCAAF Online Betting Tips: Wisconsin vs Stanford
Stanford Cardinal: Chugging right along minus Luck
Following the graduation of Andrew Luck, the Cardinal haven’t missed a beat, winning seven straight games to finish the season, including the Pac-12 Championship game. Stanford has an 11-2 overall record and finishes 8-1 in the conference. In its final four games of the season, the Cardinal defeated four nationally ranked teams, including title contender Oregon in overtime, dashing the Ducks title game hopes.
Wisconsin Badgers: Looking for win in third straight Rose Bowl
Wisconsin is appearing in its third straight Rose Bowl, losing in the previous two, but interim head coach Barry Alvarez has three Rose Bowl wins under his belt. This is the 99th Rose Bowl, which makes it the oldest bowl game in the country. The Badgers finished the season 8-5 with a 4-4 mark in the Big Ten, losing two of its final three games. The lone win was a 70-31 blowout of Nebraska in the Big Ten title game.
In previous years, when Wisconsin was ranked in the top ten in the country, this game would be a lot more interesting, but things just are not the same this season. The Badgers struggled all season and lost head coach Bret Bielema to Arkansas prior to this game. Bodog.ca, an online betting site, has the Cardinal as -6 (-105) favorites on Tuesday. We will bet 15 percent of our bankroll on Stanford and the spread.
