New Orleans Saints: Trying to climb up division ladder
After winning their previous two games, the Saints are in position to pull within one game of .500 while also climbing up the NFC South ladder, which is led by the undefeated Falcons. If there is any team in the league that can overcome an 0-4 start and make a serious run at the playoffs it is the Saints and their potent offense led by Drew Brees. The defense will need to find a way to limit opposing offenses though.
Denver Broncos: Defense needs to make big plays
Denver's defense will be tested from the opening play of the game with the potency of the Saints offense. If the Broncos defense can limit Brees and his cohorts in the big play category, then Denver should be able to pull this one out at home. Peyton Manning will need to some of his best football of the year if the Broncos wish to remain atop the AFC West. Denver has won two of three and is coming off its bye.
Despite their defense giving up quite a bit of points, the Saints continue to put up points on offense to make up for it. We expect nothing less of Brees and his offense on Sunday night.
