Toronto vs Kansas City: MLB 2015 ALCS Game 6 Alternate Game Total Prediction

Toronto vs Kansas City: MLB 2015 ALCS Game 6 Alternate Game Total Prediction

Toronto Blue Jays: Looking to force a magical ALCS Game 7

Who doesn’t like a Game 7 during any championship sports series? The Blue Jays would love to have an opportunity to soar into a winner take all contest as they look to even their American League Championship Series with the Royals. Sporting one of the most of the most powerful lineups in baseball, plus having their ace on the hill, certainly gives Toronto a solid shot at forcing a Game 7 that would be played in Kansas City on Saturday night. Although his playoff success has been very limited, LHP David Price will be on the bump for the Blue Jays tonight. Price cruised through six innings and Toronto was up 3-0 in his ALCS Game 2 loss but things unraveled quickly and the floodgates opened as the Royals scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.

Kansas City Royals: Aiming for back-to-back MLB Fall Classic appearances

After winning their first eight games during the 2014 MLB postseason, the Royals path to securing back-to-back World Series appearances has not been without a few stumbles. Similar to Toronto, who won three straight over Texas to advance to the ALCS, Kansas City also needed a miraculous comeback against Houston as they won two straight contests over the Astros. Although this series is close, at 3-2 in favor of the Royals, Kansas City has looked like the better team during four of the first five contests. As a rare weak link in the Royals pitching arsenal, RHP Yordano Ventura faces Price in the battle on the bump. Ventura has given up three runs, over just 12.1 innings pitched, during three starts in the playoffs. Toronto needs to get to Ventura early to force a Game 7.

Blue Jays vs Royals MLB 2015 ALCS Game 6 Prediction: Admittedly, we have struggled when it comes to making a definitive call on who is going to win this contest tonight. Price coming up with his first career quality win in the playoffs would not surprise us but there’s an equal chance that we get more of the same and he falls to an 0-8 postseason record as a starter. On the other hand, Ventura has not made it out of the fifth inning in any of his three playoff starts this year. Toronto hitters leaving the comfy confines and the short fences of their nest in the Rogers Centre is also a cause for concern if you are backing the Blue Jays. That said, the Toronto sluggers were very patient in their 7-1 Game 5 victory and we can’t see the Blue Jays potent offence going down without a fight here. As such, give us Toronto to score more than 2.5 runs with a 1000 unit wager on Away Total Runs price posted on the MLB betting board at the William Hill online sportsbook.
