Denver Broncos: Prepping for the playoffs
After clinching the AFC West title this past weekend, the Broncos have four games remaining on their schedule to prepare for the playoffs and attempt to make a move for the top two seeds in the conference. Denver has not lost a game since October 7 against the Patriots, winning seven in a row, which is the team's longest in 14 years. Denver is 4-0 in the division this year and 6-2 in the conference.
Oakland Raiders: Playing out the string once again
For a 10th straight season, the Raiders are playing meaningless games in December since the franchise will not be involved in the playoffs. Oakland is 3-9 overall and 1-2 in the division and has lost five straight games. When these two teams met on September 30, the Broncos embarrassed the Raiders by a score of 37-6. Not much should change for this game as Denver plays for a top seed in the playoffs.
Expect the Broncos to have their foot on the gas pedal Thursday night when they travel to Oakland to take on the Raiders.
